Wit

Belgian wheat beer, traditionally spiced with coriander seeds and citrus peel. Light and refreshing with a distinct Belgian yeast fruitiness. Good with shellfish and light seafood, or perhaps a tangy chèvre.

0,5 liter, Alc. 4,5% vol.

Blond

Light and easy with low bitterness and a distinct fruitiness from Belgian ale yeast. Goes well with shellfish and light fish dishes.

0,5 liter, Alc. 4,5% vol.

Frosting

A light and fresh lager beer brewed with local pilsner malt and German hops. Additionally, we've added fresh thyme towards the end of the boil, which we believe imparts a nice herbal character along with the German Mittelfrüh hops. Thyme is, by the way, the municipal flower of Frosta and one of the many herbs abundantly cultivated on the small peninsula, supplying grocery stores and restaurants throughout the country.

0,5 liter, Alc. 4,5% vol.

Stjørdahls

Light, crisp, and fruity with notes of modern local pilsner malt and German hops, combined with a subtle smoky character from Stjørdalsmalt and the old brewing traditions of Trøndelag.

0,5 liter, Alc. 4,5% vol.

Pale Ale

Light, fresh, and relatively hoppy American Pale Ale, with a distinct fruity hop character.

0,5 liter, Alc. 4,5% vol.

Bitter

Not particularly bitter as the name might suggest; instead, it is characterized by a balance between caramel-like malt and classic British hops. A versatile beer for food pairing that also stands well on its own.

0,5 liter, Alc. 4,5% vol.

Amber

Amber-colored with a pronounced American hop character, balanced with a generous portion of caramel malt. Goes well with grilled food, smoked dishes, and flavorful, spiced cuisine.

0,5 liter, Alc. 4,5% vol.

Brown ale

Dark, reddish-brown, and rounded with flavors reminiscent of biscuits, cocoa, hazelnuts, bread crust, and light coffee. A versatile food beer; we often pair it with toasted bread, blue cheese, and our own Porter-soaked Raisins.

0,5 liter, Alc. 4,5% vol.

Porter

A dark and full-bodied beer with a smoky character from traditional Stjørdal malt, smoked with alderwood. Good with smoked meat, game, or a rich blue cheese.

0,5 liter, Alc. 4,5% vol.

Stout

Dark and full-bodied with flavors reminiscent of coffee, dark chocolate, and licorice. Enjoyable on its own, but also try it with dark chocolate, nutty and chocolate desserts, or heavy meat dishes.

Alstadberger

Dark reddish-brown and full-bodied with a rich malt sweetness and a robust smoky character derived from a thousand-year-old local tradition of drying malt over an open fire on alderwood. Sorn

Collaborative brew with Inderøy Gårdsbryggeri in January 2013. Our version of the traditional Stjørdal beer. Robust smoky character from locally malted and dried/smoked barley with hints of juniper. The farm beer tradition in Stjørdal is one of the few in the world that has been unbroken for several thousand years. We find it exciting that this tradition is being preserved!

Pors

Before hops took over the spotlight, well-assisted by purity laws, a variety of herbs, spices, and other flavorings were common in beer, and sweet gale (pors) was one of them. Here, we have brewed a beer that gives sweet gale ample space. To bring out the taste and aroma of this traditional beer spice, we have added sweet gale leaves both during the wort boiling and in the fermentation tank.
